Leeds – May 7, 2025 – amarti is proud to announce that one of its co-founders Amardeep Sirha has joined the Leeds Mind Board of Trustees
Leeds Mind is an independent charity founded in 1972, affiliated with National Mind and the Mind federation. With more than 120 Local Mind associations across England and Wales, Leeds Mind delivers vital services locally, to anyone in Leeds and surrounds that has a mental health difficulty. The charity campaigns to promote awareness and understanding of mental health, enabling it to improve its services.
Amardeep’s appointment will enable her to advise on Digital and AI, exploring how innovation can enhance, rather than replace, the human connections that are central to recovery and resilience.

This role is deeply personal to me. Like many, I’ve witnessed how mental health challenges can shape and sometimes shake entire lives. I believe deeply in the importance of community-based, person-led support. Mental health care should be built with people, not just for them, and Leeds Mind embodies that ethos
