About You

  • Data Analysis & Visualization Tools: Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio for data visualisation and analysis.
  • SQL: Strong skills in SQL for querying databases and managing large datasets.
  • Data Cleaning: Ability to clean, preprocess, and normalise data to ensure accuracy in analysis.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical concepts such as probability, regression, and hypothesis testing to analyse trends and patterns.
  • Domain Knowledge: Ability to understand the business context of data and ensure that analysis aligns with organisational goals.
  • Critical Thinking: Skilled at framing business questions, identifying key metrics, and solving problems using data insights.
  • Data Warehousing: Familiarity with platforms like AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake for storing and retrieving large datasets.
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Understanding of ETL processes for data integration and warehousing, using tools like Apache Airflow or Talend.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in handling and interpreting data to avoid errors and ensure accuracy in analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Methodical approach to diagnosing data issues and finding effective solutions.
  • Predictive Analytics: Experience using machine learning algorithms (e.g., linear regression, clustering) to forecast trends and inform decision-making.
  • Automation: Knowledge of scripting for automating data workflows, such as web scraping and data pipeline automation.
